DOS and OS/2 Corrective Service Diskettes (CSD) Information New command information If you want to download all of the files for a particular package you can use the "CSD" command. Type CSD at the main command prompt and you will be shown a menu that has selections of CSD packages. When you select an option you will be given a choice to download the diskette imaging software. All files for the choosen CSD package will be downloaded to your system, one at a time. When the download process is complete, you will have the same amount of time remaining as when you started the download process. Details of what is contained in the CSD packages and how to use the diskette imaging software are contained in this bulletin. When an entire CSD package is not needed: Individual diskette image files for all the latest CSDs can be downloaded from file directory #4 (Corrective Service Software). This is useful when you do not need all the disks for a particular CSD package. Getting the diskette image software: The CSD image files that you download from this BBS contain the extension TG0. To create the disks from these files, download TGSFX.COM. When you execute TGSFX.COM, it will self-extract the diskette image software (TELEGET.EXE). Making the Corrective Service Diskettes: Copy the diskette image files to a diskette or to a subdirectory on your hard drive. Execute the diskette image software, TELEGET.EXE. When prompted, enter the name of the diskette image file for the diskette you wish to make. You should make a label for the diskette using the information provided on the screen so you don't mix-up the diskettes. Repeat this process until all diskettes have been made. Installing the Corrective Service. Insert the first diskette in drive A and reboot your system. Follow the instructions on the screen. Note: Don't try to copy and use the 3.5 inch on 5.25 inch drive machines or visa versa; it doesn't work.
