Extract the downloaded drivers onto the hard drive. 2. Please make sure that your system has theDVD and Enhanced Video Adapter installed in the system. 3. If you are installing that the MPEG Features Diskette for Windows 95 for the first time: a) Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager. b) Select Other Devices and PCI Multimedia Device. c) Select Remove; then click on OK.á To update the MPEG Features driver on the system: a) Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager. b) Select Sound, video and game controllers and IBM PCI MPEG 1/2 Decoder. c) Select Remove; then click on OK. d) Select Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. e) Select IBM MPEG Device Drivers[mci]. f) Click on Add/Remove. This step removes the existing drivers from the system.á 4. Restart the system. 5. During startup, the New Hardware Found dialog box appears. 6. Type C:\DRIVERS\W95\MPEG when prompted for diskette. 7. Follow the New Hardware Found dialog box instruction to install the driver from the hard drive. 8. If your system has a CD-ROM drive installed, you may need to set the drive letter for one of the MPEG devices that you installed. To do this use the following directions: o Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Multimedia -> Advanced. o Double-click on Media Control Devices. o Select the IBM MPEG CD-i/VideoCD [mci] device and click on Properties. o Click on Settings. o Ensure that the drive letter shown represents the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive. If necessary, type a new drive letter. o Click on OK. o Click on OK. o Click on OK. o Close the Control Panel and My Computer windows.
