Purpose ======= These beta drivers for the DEVA (DVD and Enhanced Video Video Adapter) are provided for use under Windows 2000 Beta 3. These drivers are for the following systems: - ThinkPad 770X (with the DEVA card installed) - ThinkPad 770Z (with the DEVA card installed) Installation instructions ========================= 1. Boot and logon to Windows 2000 Beta 3 with an Administrator user account. 2. Click Start ->Settings->Control Panel . 3. Double click System applet to open System Properties window. Next, select Hardware tab. 4. Click on Device Manager . 5. Expand Other devices by clicking on the plus box . 6. Select the Unknown device with Location: on Trident Video Accelerator... 7. Select Reinstall Driver... 8. Select Next for Upgrade Device Driver Wizard. 9. Select Next to Search for a suitable driver for my device. 10. Select search location, then select Next . 11. Select path to copy files from, then click OK . 12. Select Next to Driver Files Search Results . 13. Select Yes in response to Warning about continue the installation (digital signature). 14. Click Finish to complete the device installation. 15. Reboot the system.
