Installation Guide ------------------ HOW TO DETERMINE WHAT VERSION IS INSTALLED: (Windows 98 and Windows 95 OSR2 (OEM Service Release 2)) 1. Start Windows 95/98. 2. Click on 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'. 3. Open the Display icon. 4. Click on the 'Setting' tab. 5. Click on the 'Advanced (Properties)...' button. 6. Click on the 'Adapter' tab. The version is displayed in the last section of the software version line. Example: Software Version: 4.10.01.0017-Q6.23.00 -------- In this case, the version is: 6.23.00Q HOW TO INSTALL THE DRIVER: (Note) To determine if you have to update the display driver or not, please refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. (Windows 98) 1. Start Windows 98. 2. Extract the drivers to the hard drive. 3. Click on 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'. 4. Open the Display icon. 5. Click on the 'Setting' tab. 6. Click on the 'Advanced...' button. 7. Click on the 'Adapter' tab. 8. Click on 'Change...' button. Then Update Device Driver Wizard dialog box appears. 9. Click on the 'Next>' button. 10. Select 'Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want'. 11. Click on 'Next>' button. 12. Click on 'Have Disk...' button. 13. Type "C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY" and click on 'OK'. Or specify the full path you extracted in the step 2 and click on 'OK'. The video driver list appears. 14. Confirm 'NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD' is selected in the 'Models:' field and click on the 'OK' button. 15. Click on 'Yes' button if 'Update Driver Warning' dialog is appeared. 16.
