Place into a directory of your choosing and execute. When extracted the directory structure shown below will be created. The basic structure is: \NF\\. Fixes are contained in the directory named for the operating system under which Netfinity Manager/Client Services is installed. In most cases, fixes apply to both Netfinity Manager and Client Services unless otherwise noted and will be located in a Manager or Services subdirectory for that operating system. The directory structure created by NF5102US.EXE \NF5102\US\Netware \NF5102\US\OS2 \NF5102\US\WIN95 \NF5102\US\Windows \NF5102\US\WINNT NOTE: Fixes may not be present for all operating systems. General instructions for applying fixes: 1. Execute NF5102US.EXE and change to NF5102 directory. 2. Change to the directory named for your language. Currently either US for English or JP for Japanese. 3. Change to the directory named for the operating system that fixes for Netfinity Manager/Client Services are to be applied. 4. Read the readme.txt in that directory for specific instructions and other details about the fixes. 5. Most of the time, the new files can be copied directly to the Netfinity Manager/Client Services directory, usually \NETFIN or \WNETFIN. It is recommended that you backup the original files before they are replaced by the fix files. In some cases the Netfinity Support Program will need to be stopped and restarted for the fixes to become active. 6. Files should only be copied from the fixes directory if the same file exist in the current Netfinity Manager/Client Services directory. If the file from the fixes directory does not exist in the current Netfinity Manager/Client Services directory, it should not be added unless otherwise specified.
