Windows NT** Support Diskette Procedures contained in this file will enable SVGA support for IBM* PC Server* systems having video subsystems based on the Cirrus Logic** 5436 under version 3.5.1 of the Windows NT Server** and Windows NT Workstation**. It is recommended that you print this README file prior to proceeding. WINDOWS NT version 3.5.1 ________________________ 1. Turn on the computer and the display. 2. Start Windows NT. 3. Select the CONTROL PANEL at the MAIN window of the Program Manager. 4. Select DISPLAY. 5. Select CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE at the DISPLAY SETTINGS window. 6. Select CHANGE. 7. Select OTHER at the SELECT DEVICE window. 8. Insert the Windows and Utilities Support Diskette in drive A. 9. Select OK at the INSTALL FROM DISK window. 10. Cirrus Logic 256/64K colors will appear highlighted at the SELECT DEVICE window. Select INSTALL. 11. Select YES at the INSTALLING DRIVER window. 12. Select CONTINUE at the WINDOWS NT SETUP window. 13. Select OK at the INSTALLING DRIVER window. 14. Another INSTALLING DRIVER window will appear with a warning: "The driver could not be started dynamically..." Select OK. 15. Remove the Windows and Utilities Support Diskette from drive A. 16. Select RESTART NOW at the DISPLAY SETTINGS CHANGE window. 16. Follow the directions as they appear in your screen.
